118% Value Pick Return · IST Ltd · Exit In Jul16

Watup Valueguyz,

I hope you are doing awesome as I know I am, most of you must be wondering my slack over valueguyz.com over last few days. Well let's clear the air now as I have an announcement to make....

Doston I got engaged last week to this lovely girl who happens to be a Company Secretary (CS) too. I guess now I have to agree with her in corporate governance field too .

Recently a fellow Valueguy ask me that what will happen to VGEX if market crashes like 50-60%. It seem like he was asking for how to be confident on the performance of VGEX & ultimately in his own investing.

This is an excellent question & needs a keen observation to point out the obvious.

Chalo reality check hi kar lete hai.

  • Last year on 2nd July Nifty was approx 8400 & VGEX was at 56.4%
  • In February Nifty was at approx 6900 ie, down 2100 points from All time high & VGEX was still strong at 63%.
  • Then Mr. Market took a V-shaped recovery & Now Nifty on 1st July was approx 8330 & VGEX is at 114%

Market neeeche gayi ya upar VGEX ki long term direction upar ko hi hai because we do intelligent investing & say 'No to Sattebaaji'.

I think 'Seeing is Believing' but in long term investing ek aam aadmi fails to have such foresight. It is my duty to bring out the fact on the table for you to see it for yourself.

What matters is 'Time in the market' not 'Timing the market'.

Now let's talk some fun stuff as I exit the Value Pick Multibagger given for research at valueguyz.com that is IST Ltd

Original Value Pick : IST Ltd

Value Pick : Summary

Result :

Watch the video above on this Value pick Exit.

IST Ltd was a multibagger as a value pick because it was an asset based business as markets are totally acted unaware of the valuation of assets it has initially.

IST Ltd. just enjoys 28% shareholding in Gurgaon Infospace SEZ in Sec 21 Gurgaon which is developed by Unitech . The plot originally belongs to IST & was given to Unitech under a JV setup.

IST gave the multibagger return but has incurred almost none expenses (just an entry & an exit) and has clearly outperformed Nifty by leaps and bounds. Ise kehte hai valueguyz ki intelligent investing
